Spent the majority of his time as FMF designated Corpsman with Marine 1st Division Camp Pendleton, CA

Chad has been in the American Legion since  2007, he enjoys helping other veterans and the community he lives in.  


1st Vice

Richard B. “Rick.” Lilly

US Army/US Navy 1972 – 1995

Rick served in the US Army’s Airborne Forces from 1972 – 1980 rising the rank of Staff Sargant E-6. His basic MOS was 11B Infantry. In 1980- Rick completed his degree and left the Army to accept a commission in the US Navy where he served there in a wide variety of assignments in Naval Aviation

retiring in January 1995. In civilian life, Rick worked for two major airlines as a line technician in several

major cities. Rick retired in July 2020 and became more active in the American Legion. He has many

hobbies, but really enjoys his life with his wife Weifen and their pets.


2nd Vice

Malinda Bell

 Served in the Air Force  

1997 - 2008

Reached the rank of SSgt E-5 and also received Healthcare Management 7 level skills, while rising to supervisor of new enlisted Airman in Records Management for Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital Facility Wilford Hall Medical Center, 5 years stationed at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. Then took a Special Duty assignment to Bolling AFB in WA, DC and spent the remainder of enlisted working, for the Surgeon General's Office of the AF of Research Studies of Human and Animal. Managed research protocols approvals than moved to funding approval for research studies, worked on special projects, and additional worked in Electronic Records Management Training personnel for the Division. 

Retired in 2008.

Received an associate degree from Community College of the Air Force in 2007 and went on to finish Bachelor's of Science degree in Technical Management and Project Management from DeVry University 2010.

Became a member of the American Legion in 2021. She enjoys meeting new people, and spending time outdoors, and spending time with family.

Amy King


Amy served in the Navy from 1993-1995 on the USS Yellowstone (AD-41) a repair tender administratively deleting completed repair jobs out of the computer system on ship.  

US Army National Guard 1999-2004 in Decatur, TX as the unit personnel as well in the supply department issuing uniforms, food, ammunition, and fuel. She earned her GED in 1989, an Associate of Arts in General Studies in 2005 from Weatherford College, a Paralegal Bachelor's degree in 2008 from Texas Wesleyan University, and a paralegal certificate from Tarrant County College in 2021.

Years in Legion:  6

David is a retired US Air Force Veteran who was stationed at Mildenhall England UK; Francis E. Warren AFB Cheyenne Wyoming; Canon AFB Clovis NM; Sachon AB ROK S. Korea; Kwang Ju AB ROK S. Korea.  Since his time in the military, he was involved in the Law Enforcement and contract Security fields.  He enjoys his time with other veterans and helping his veteran Brothers and Sisters.
